Today we are very excited to announce a new feature to our platform - global alarms!

Global alarms are a way to create alarms that automatically monitor every endpoint in your application, even as your application grows and evolves.

Global alarms let you create a single alarm that will automatically be applied to any endpoint that exists in your application. Global alarms are constantly synced with the state of your app, so as you add or remove endpoints, your alarms will automatically be updated.

Why is this useful?

As your server grows and evolves, it can be hard and annoying to keep track of everything you have to monitor. With global alarms, you can set up a single alarm and know that it will be applied to every endpoint in your application, even ones you add in the future.

For example, you can create a single global alarm that gets triggered if the number of 500 error responses exceeds a certain threshold. This alarm will then start monitoring every endpoint in your application. When you add new endpoints in the future, there is no need to manually a new alarm to each one - an alarm will automatically be applied to the new endpoints.

Conclusion

Global alarms are a great way to ensure you don't forget to set up monitoring for new endpoints in your application. They are a powerful tool that can save you time and effort as your application grows and evolves.
